Alessandra DeBlasio runs a highly-regarded solo litigation practice in New York City focusing on federal criminal trials and appeals. She has more than twenty years of experience as a litigator, in both the public and private sectors, with a tremendous record of success.

Ms. DeBlasio began her career at the U.S. Department of Justice, where she played an important role in the initial phase of the criminal prosecution of Zacarias Moussaoui – the so-called “20th hijacker” in the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center towers and the Pentagon – which prosecution resulted in the sole conviction in a U.S. civilian courtroom for the 9/11 atrocities. She also played a notable diplomatic role while at the Department of Justice, as an official representative at multilateral treaty negotiations in 1998 establishing the International Criminal Court.

She speaks several languages proficiently, among them French, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish, and welcomes inquiries from individuals as well as other law firms.
